## Plan for the person who is away.

Before month end, give the close team a tested way into each shared account.

Example coverage plan — agreed by the finance team, not permissions set by this table.

Give each person or group access to the accounts they need. External accountants can use selected accounts without access to the rest; team admins retain management access.

### Getting in is one thing. Approving money is another.

Keep individual logins, read-only roles and second approvers at the finance platform. Shared codes do not replace payment approvals.

## Check it before the close.

Keep recovery details with an agreed owner. If a portal sends SMS, test that it accepts your company number and give the close team permission to read it. Admins can read all team numbers.
