## See how setup works.

### Add an account

Add an authenticator account or choose a company SMS number.

Keep a working recovery method at the original service.

### Invite your team

Invite people by email. Everyone gets their own login.

Choose which accounts and SMS numbers each person can use.

### Test a sign-in

Get a code and try it at the service with a teammate.

Test SMS support before you rely on a number.

## Setup questions

### How do I add an authenticator?

Open its security settings and find a supported setup QR code, link or key. Add it to MFA Accounts, then generate a code to finish setup. Keep the service’s recovery codes somewhere safe.

### How do I receive SMS?

Choose and activate a company SMS number. Enter it at the shared service and request a test text. Number acceptance is decided by the service sending it; some services do not accept these numbers.

### How do I invite teammates?

Invite each person by email, then share the authenticator accounts and SMS numbers they need. Authenticator accounts can also be shared with groups. Admins can manage all authenticator accounts and see every number.

### When can I remove the old setup?

Complete a real sign-in with a teammate before removing the old setup. Keep a recovery option. Use individual logins at the original service where they are offered.

## Start with one account.

Your first authenticator account is free.
